Jesse REALLY knows how to do it...

Jesse is alllll about playing sports! He loves them...ESPECIALLY soccer! Well since we moved up here to sac, Jesse has been trying to find a men's league to join. He started by playing a couple nights a week with Dad's team, but that soon faded. Its not the most fun playing with a bunch of young jerky boys (Gabe NOT included).

On a side note, one of the sister's in the ward decided to have a few of the "young" married couples over for a service project. Jesse and I agreed to go, so we brought some brownies to eat! When we were there Jesse talked with one of the other guys there about finding some pick up soccer league (just for fun). So anyway, a few weeks later, the guy called Jesse about coming to a saturday soccer game in an actual league...im not sure who he knew that played but that doesn't really matter.

Jesse went this past saturday and played. The game was 45 minute halves...crazy right? Well Jesse to say the least got slide tackled 25 minutes into the game. These guys aren't playing on GRASS ..... they are playing on turf. So Jesse got a serious "turf burn" on the side of his leg. You may be thinking right now, "how bad could it be?" Well, I'll show you.......

Mmmm! Anyway, we thought this was a pretty funny thing to post about. The end to the story is Jesse continued to play the rest of the game(in pain). But thats how crazy he is about soccer...
