On November 14, 2009 Jesse ran his very first half Marathon. My awesome brother Ian made the goal for his New Years Resolution to run a HALF MARATHON. Well that turned into him running a full marathon. He tried talking everyone into running it with him. My other brother Caleb said he would... well when he was training he injured his poor foot. So that meant Caleb was out(he's not supposed to run on it at all anymore), but Jesse also said he would do it! Well, Jesse sort of procrastinated and didn't start training early enough to run the full, so he trained for the half instead.

It was so great to see him accomplish one of his goals (thanks to Ian). Jesse was really excited to race and didnt quite know what to expect. I TRIED to meet him at 3 of the "resting" points... but couldn't find any of them! I was pretty bummed out, because he ended up getting 3 MASSIVE blisters on his feet. So i wanted to try and bring him something to wrap them, because they were slowing him down of course. He ended up taking his sock off at one point to wrap up the huge blister he got, but that ended badly... HA so he couldn't do that anymore.

He is a Trrrooooper though! He did wonderful and I'm so proud of him. He is planning on maybe running a full marathon next year! YAY! I'll let him fill you in, of anything i left out!

I am soo proud of him and Ian! They did a m a z i n g!
