Faith and I had our first real date for a long long time yesterday. Going to Texas was a great adventure for both of us, but we didn't get a lot of time together because I was working so much. We've been back in Sacramento for a few weeks now, but we have kept ourselves busy with getting back to work, and getting ready for the next semester. That's why yesterday was such a great day.
We both had the day off yesterday, so we made plans to do something fun. We were originally going to go Monterey, but we both couldn't sleep the night before so we decided to stay here in town and do something different. We took our time getting up, busted out our waffle maker, and had a good breakfast. I love me some waffles! Haha, anyways...If you know Faith, and I at all then you'll know that we love to go to the movie theaters. After breakfast/lunch (hee), we saw "Crazy, Stupid, Love". It was so fun to go watch a movie that wasn't on netflix, haha. We then went to Old Sacramento (I think that's what it's called...San Diegan her!), and ate at Johnny Rockets. I've never been there before, so it was fun to try something new. We then walked around the mall, and took some pictures by the train and river. We've been by the river before, but this time it was so much more fun because we took our time. We didn't have anything to do, we took a lot of pictures, we were people watching (I think we have some new pics for people of walmart, ha), and we had great talk time in a relaxing place. All in all, it was a great day.
All of that might have sounded boring, and if it did then your boring! Just kidding...anyways. Yesterday was awesome, and I love my wife so much. We work so great together, and I'm lucky to have her in my life.
